Question about item
Vanilla without the sweetener aftertaste – you decide how sweet your shake gets
Nature's Protein Vanilla by nutri+ combines three plant protein sources with natural vanilla flavour – completely unsweetened and sugar-free, so the sweetness fits your recipe.
Vanilla is the classic among shake flavours – and that is exactly why it disappoints so often. Many powders taste like candy floss rather than vanilla, because sweeteners set the tone. In coffee, porridge or baking, the built-in sweetness gets in the way even more.
This recipe stays unsweetened and sugar-free, with the vanilla note coming from a natural flavour. You set the sweetness yourself – from subtle to dessert-level. That keeps the powder flexible: in a classic shake, in your breakfast bowl, or as a protein base for baking. Three protein sources form the foundation without any of them dominating the taste.
Behind the product is nutri+ (Nutrition-Plus Germany), a company from Grafschaft in Germany that develops exclusively plant-based products – a 100% vegan company. The recipe was developed by nutritionists and is laboratory tested.
Mix 30 g powder with 300 ml liquid in a shaker. Add sweeteners or sugar alternatives as desired. Note: The vanilla flavour unfolds only in combination with sweetness.

Why three protein sources instead of one?
Single plant proteins have different amino acid profiles. Rice protein is comparatively low in lysine, pea protein low in methionine – in a blend, these gaps balance each other out. Soy protein isolate additionally brings a particularly high protein share. The result is an amino acid profile that comes much closer to animal protein sources than any single plant source on its own.

💬 Frequently asked questions
-
What does the shake taste like with no sweeteners at all?+On its own, the powder is deliberately mild and barely sweet. The vanilla note really comes through once sweetness is added – for example a sugar alternative of your choice, or fruit in the blender. That is the whole point: you set both taste and sweetness yourself.
-
Does the powder dissolve well?+Yes, the recipe is designed for good solubility. The easiest way is a shaker: liquid first, then powder, then shake vigorously. Blended with fruit, the texture turns creamy as well.
-
Does the product contain allergens?+Yes, it contains soy. Milk components and gluten are not an issue, though: the powder is lactose-free and gluten-free.
-
Can I also use it for baking or cooking?+Yes. Because the powder is unsweetened, it fits sweet and savoury recipes alike – from porridge and pancakes to vanilla cake. You control the sweetness through the recipe, not the powder.
-
How does Vanilla differ from the Banana variety?+Apart from the flavour, mainly in sugar: Vanilla comes in at 0 g sugar, while Banana contains small amounts of naturally occurring sugars. The protein base of three plant sources is built the same way in both varieties.
-
Who is a multi-component protein interesting for?+For anyone eating plant-based or looking to reduce animal protein – for example active athletes or people with increased protein needs. If you have only used a single plant source so far, you get a broader amino acid profile here.
