Vitamin K

2 Vitamin K forms are known. In the plant-based foods are Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and in animal vitamin K2 (menaquinone). Small amounts of Vitmain K can be produced by the body itself.

Foods with vitamin K:
Sauerkraut, spinach, brussels sprouts, broccoli, kale, carrots, chicken, beef liver.

The recommended daily vitamin K intake is 70-80ug/day for men and 60-65ug/day for women. There is no upper limit.
