Question about item
Your protein target stands — quark and chicken breast just aren't the route you want
Soy, pea and sunflower: three plant proteins in one instant powder with hazelnut flavour, produced for nutri+ (Nutrition-Plus Germany).
The fridge is full of lentils, tofu and vegetables — and still, by evening, the question is whether today actually added up. Anyone eating plant-based knows that arithmetic. Animal foods pack a lot of protein into small portions; plant foods need considerably more volume for the same amount.
This is where a powder that blends three sources rather than one comes in. Soy protein brings a complete amino acid pattern. Pea protein is rich in lysine. Sunflower protein adds sulphur-containing amino acids such as methionine and cysteine — building blocks that legumes alone tend to run short on. Together they produce a profile in which every essential amino acid appears.
Behind the formula sits nutri+, a brand that has committed entirely to plant-based nutrition with its "do it plant-based" claim. You can see it in the ingredient list: six entries, three of them proteins. Plus 2 % low-fat cocoa powder for colour and depth, a hazelnut flavouring for taste, and a sweetener. No fillers, no thickeners.
Pour 350–400 ml of liquid into a shaker and add 30 g of powder (about 3 heaped tablespoons). Shake well until the powder is completely dissolved. Ideally consume after workout. We recommend a plant-based drink.

Why three protein sources instead of one?
Every plant has its own amino acid pattern, with strengths and gaps. Legumes such as pea deliver plenty of lysine but comparatively little methionine and cysteine. With sunflower protein it is the other way round. Soy brings both in balanced amounts and serves as the base here. Add up the nine essential amino acids from the declared profile and you reach 37 g per 100 g of protein — of which roughly 16.8 g are branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine).
Where do the 2.8 g of salt per 100 g come from?
The figure surprises at first glance, because no salt is added to the powder. The salt content is exclusively due to the presence of naturally occurring sodium. It comes from the protein isolates themselves: extraction from soy and pea works with alkali and acid, and sodium remains in the finished product. Per 30 g serving that works out at 0.83 g.
⚠️ Mandatory information: Contains soy. The salt content is exclusively due to the presence of naturally occurring sodium. The filling level is due to technical reasons. After filling, air escapes, causing the powder to lose volume.
📦 Storage: Store this product protected from warmth, sunlight and humidity.
💬 Frequently asked questions
-
What is the protein in one serving good for?+Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass. One 30 g serving delivers 24 g of protein. How much you need across the day depends on body weight, training volume and the rest of your diet.
-
What should I mix the powder with?+A plant-based drink is recommended — oat, soy or almond work with the hazelnut note and make the shake rounder. With water it turns out lighter and lower in calories. Remember that a plant drink adds its own nutritional values on top of the table above.
-
Does it dissolve without a blender?+Yes, a shaker is enough. The order matters: liquid first, then the powder. Then shake well until nothing is left sitting at the bottom. A sieve or mixing ball inside the shaker helps too.
-
Does it contain real hazelnuts?+No. The taste comes from the flavouring; hazelnuts do not appear in the ingredient list. Soy is declared as the allergen. The dark colour comes from low-fat cocoa powder at 2 %.
-
What is the shake sweetened with?+With the sweetener sucralose. No sugar is added, which is why the nutrition table shows 0 g of sugars. Sucralose is authorised as a sweetener in the EU and contributes no calories.
-
Why isn't the pouch filled to the top?+The filling level is due to technical reasons. After filling, air escapes, causing the powder to lose volume. What counts is the weight: the pouch holds 1000 g, which is 33 servings of 30 g.
