Question about item
Onions, cabbage and eggs all contain sulphur. MSM 500 puts it in a capsule in pure form
MSM 500 from Optiolex, a brand from Austria, contains 99.9% pure methylsulfonylmethane, a source of organically bound sulphur. Each vegan capsule provides 500 mg of MSM, so four capsules a day add up to 2,000 mg. No fillers, no flavourings, preservatives or colourings.
After calcium and phosphorus, sulphur is one of the minerals the body contains in the largest amounts. In the diet it comes mainly from protein-rich foods, onions, garlic and cabbage. MSM itself also occurs naturally in small amounts in milk, fruit and vegetables.
MSM 500 provides it in a concentrated, pure form. Methylsulfonylmethane is an odourless, white crystalline compound in which the sulphur is organically bound. The capsules contain nothing but MSM and the cellulose shell, which keeps the dosage easy to follow: 500 mg per capsule, 2,000 mg with four capsules.
Optiolex has MSM 500 manufactured in line with GMP guidelines. You will find the brand's full range on the Optiolex brand page.

What does "organically bound sulphur" mean?
Elemental sulphur is a yellow element that is not eaten as such. In food, sulphur always comes in compounds, for example in the amino acids methionine and cysteine, or in MSM. In MSM, one sulphur atom sits between two methyl groups and two oxygen atoms. The compound is odourless and dissolves well in water, which makes it easy to dose accurately in capsules.
⚠️ Important information: Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children.
📦 Storage: Keep tightly closed and store in a cool place.
