Oily sea fish once or twice a week – that's the usual advice. In everyday life, it often stays a good intention. And the shelf doesn't make it easier: many products advertise the amount of fish oil, when what really counts is how much EPA and DHA is actually inside.
That's where these capsules come in. They provide a concentrated fish oil in which the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are present as triglycerides – the same binding form found naturally in fish. Natural vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol) is on board too, protecting the delicate oil from oxidation.
The raw material comes from Golden Omega, a Chilean producer that obtains its fish oil concentrates through a patented purification and concentration process. The brand is from Austria, and production follows GMP guidelines.

What does the triglyceride (TG) form mean?
In fish oil, the omega-3 fatty acids naturally occur as triglycerides – three fatty acids bound to a glycerol backbone. Concentrated fish oil comes in ethyl-ester and in triglyceride form. The triglyceride form matches the structure found in fish. Which form a product uses is stated in the ingredient list – here it is a concentrate in TG form.
What are the heart, brain and vision statements based on?
The EU has authorised health claims for EPA and DHA. They apply from a daily intake of 250 mg: for heart function 250 mg EPA and DHA combined, for brain function and vision 250 mg DHA each. You reach these amounts with the recommended daily dose of two capsules.
