The body needs minerals in larger amounts than trace elements. They include magnesium, calcium and potassium.

Alkaline powders and capsules are blends of alkaline-reacting mineral compounds, for example citrates and carbonates of magnesium, calcium and potassium.

Good sources of minerals are vegetables, fruit, nuts, wholegrains and dairy products.

Good to know when taking it

Split magnesium: Larger amounts of magnesium are better tolerated when spread over the day.
Check the compound: Minerals come in different compounds, such as citrate, bisglycinate or carbonate. The product page shows which one a product contains.
Add up the amounts: Minerals are often found in multivitamins, alkaline powders and single products at the same time. Stick to the recommended intake.
Dissolve powders properly: Dissolve alkaline powders in enough water and ideally drink them between meals.
