Question about item
The fruity-tart handful that lifts your morning bowl out of the routine
Goji berries are the bright red fruit of the Lycium shrub from the high-altitude regions of China and Central Asia. These come from certified organic farming and were gently sun-dried – pure, with nothing added.
Same muesli in the morning, same yoghurt at night – sooner or later every healthy routine starts to taste a little like an obligation. Anyone after something fruity and tart to break it up, without piling on the sugar, tends to reach for the little red berry.
The goji berry, also known as the Chinese wolfberry or boxthorn, grows in high, sun-drenched regions. The fruit ripens slowly there and is then gently sun-dried. That keeps its deep colour and its typical fruity-tart, not-too-sweet taste. In Asia it is popularly called the "happy berry".
These berries come from Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard, a natural-products specialist in business since 1903. They are grown organically and packed without sulphur or additives – a pure natural product, where small variations in look and taste are simply part of the deal.
On their own as a snack, or added to muesli, yoghurt, smoothies and baked goods.

How do I tell good dried goji berries apart?
A bright orange-red colour and a soft, supple texture are good signs. Hard, pale or brownish berries point to lower quality. Because this is a natural product, small differences from batch to batch are normal and not a defect.
What is in goji berries?
Goji berries naturally contain the carotenoids lutein, zeaxanthin and beta-carotene – the plant pigments behind their strong red colour. Add to that dietary fibre and the distinctive fruity-tart taste. The berries are a food, not a food supplement.
⚠️ Note: Organic goji berries are a natural product. Variations in appearance, colour and taste are natural and do not affect quality.
📦 Storage: Store in a dry place, tightly closed.
