Question about item
When three balanced meals a day stays more of an aspiration than a habit
Hawaiian Spirulina delivers plant protein – from a microalga grown on Hawaii's lava-field ponds and pressed into 1,250 cold-pressed tablets.
Three full meals a day – that doesn't always happen. A long meeting swallows lunch, training pushes dinner back, the week is full of compromises. Protein is often what slips through.
That's where Hawaiian Spirulina comes in. The dried microalga is roughly two-thirds protein – more than red meat in the same amount. A compact tablet form to add to a meal when the meal itself doesn't cover everything.
Spirulina Pacifica has been grown in algae ponds on Hawaii's west coast since the 1980s. A generation of the same microalga, the same ponds. The patented Ocean-Thrill process was developed there – and the cold-pressing on the farm has been part of it ever since.
Take 8 tablets (3.2 g) daily with plenty of liquid.

What sets the Ocean-Thrill process apart?
Standard-dried spirulina usually goes through hot air or roller drying – both stress delicate plant compounds. The Ocean-Thrill process keeps the algal mass below 35 °C and away from oxygen. That protects carotenoids, chlorophyll and phycocyanin from oxidation. The powder is then pressed into tablets directly on the farm in Hawaii – no binders, no heat.
Why 100 % spirulina without other ingredients?
Many tablets need release agents like magnesium stearate or silica so the powder flows evenly into the press. With Spirulina Pacifica, cold-pressing works without those auxiliaries – the algal structure binds on its own. That leaves a 400 mg tablet at 100 % algal material.

💬 Frequently asked questions
-
How do the tablets taste?+Spirulina has a distinctive flavour – slightly algal, slightly earthy. In tablet form, you barely notice it when swallowing. If you're sensitive to the taste, take the tablets with a meal or a drink with a strong flavour of its own.
-
Are the tablets easy to swallow?+The tablets are small – about the size of a small mineral tablet. Spreading the daily portion across the day usually feels easier than swallowing them all at once.
-
Is spirulina vegan?+Yes. Spirulina is a microalga. No animal-derived parts, and no animal-based processing aids.
-
Why does the product contain sulphites?+Sulphites occur naturally in some algae species and are not added. Because sulphite-sensitive people can react to them, the note is given as an allergen declaration.
-
How long does one pack last?+Around five months at the full daily dose. If you take less, the pack lasts correspondingly longer.
-
What's the difference between the 1,250, 625 and 250 tablet packs?+
