Organic ground real star anise (Illicium verum).

The organic star anise spice from Vietnam is not only a typical Christmas spice, it also enhances mulled wine and is a popular craft item for children. Real star anise (Illicium verum) is the fruit of the evergreen magnolia tree of Southeast Asia and, when ground into capsules, is a popular dietary supplement. The star anise tree is very resistant to predators, a property that is primarily expressed in its seeds.
