N-Acetyl L-Cysteine, often called NAC, is a highly effective form or synthetic derivative of the amino acid L-cysteine.

In the body, N-acetylcysteine is rapidly absorbed and almost completely absorbed. In the liver, the active metabolite L-cysteine is then formed.

This N-Acetyl L-Cysteine appears as a white, crystalline powder and is produced by fermentation. For further processing, it is gently finely ground so that it can be absorbed well.
