Question about item
Six months of grape seed routine — three jars, no re-orders in between
Three jars of Optiolex OPC Grape Seed Extract with 60 capsules each — at one capsule a day, that's roughly six months of routine. Each capsule: 500 mg of standardised grape seed extract with 250 mg of OPC, plus natural vitamin C from camu-camu. A brand from Austria.
Anyone who's brought OPC into their daily routine soon notices: it's a marathon, not a sprint. Plant polyphenols come into their own through consistency over weeks and months. One 60-capsule jar is an entry point — three jars build a routine.
In a standardised grape seed extract half the mass consists of oligomeric proanthocyanidins. These short-chain building blocks of two to four linked catechin units belong to the flavanol family — chemically related to the catechins in green tea. Camu-camu, coconut milk and cassava root extract round the formulation out with plant-based co-ingredients.
OPC research reaches back to the late 1940s, when Jacques Masquelier first identified the compound class in the skins of peanuts. Today, grape seed extract counts as the best-documented source. This formulation uses no synthetic additives, with corn starch as the bulking agent and a plant-based capsule shell.
Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of liquid.

Net quantity: 3 × 60 capsules (180 capsules in total).
How should the unopened jars be stored?
As long as the jars stay sealed, the capsules are well protected from moisture and light. Store them dry and not above room temperature — a cupboard in the living area is plenty. The best-before date is printed on the bottom of each jar; stored properly, quality stays stable well beyond that date.
Why camu-camu as the vitamin C source?
Camu-camu (Myrciaria dubia) is an Amazon-rainforest berry with one of the highest natural vitamin C densities of any fruit. This formulation uses a camu-camu extract standardised to 25% vitamin C, rather than synthetic ascorbic acid. Each capsule therefore provides 12 mg of vitamin C — 15% of the EU daily reference intake.
⚠️ Mandatory notices: Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of young children.
📦 Storage & best-before: Store in a dry place, not above room temperature. Best-before date / lot number: see bottom of each jar.
💬 Frequently asked questions
-
How long does the three-jar bundle last?+At one capsule a day, 180 capsules cover around six months. That keeps the routine predictable without re-ordering every few weeks.
-
Why a bundle rather than individual jars?+Plant polyphenols come into their own with consistent intake over months. A bundle simplifies that: buy once, six months handled.
-
What does "50% OPC" in the extract mean?+Half the extract mass consists of oligomeric proanthocyanidins — 250 mg of OPC for 500 mg of extract per capsule. Standardisation keeps the content consistent from batch to batch.
-
When is the best time to take the capsule?+One capsule daily with plenty of liquid. Many prefer taking it with their first meal. If your stomach is sensitive, a small snack alongside helps.
-
How should the unopened jars be stored?+Dry and not above room temperature. The capsules stay well protected inside the sealed jar. The best-before date is on the bottom of each jar.
-
Is the bundle vegan and allergen-free?+Yes. All ingredients are plant-based, and the capsule shell is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Gluten- and lactose-free, with no colourings or preservatives.
