Description

Tired of the creatine tub running out every few months?

nutri+ Creatine Monohydrate Powder in the 1000 g bag is plain creatine monohydrate with nothing added: no flavouring, no anti-caking agent, no sweetener. One level scoop a day covers the intake the EFSA claim is based on, for around nine and a half months.

💎
The ingredient list is one word long
Creatine monohydrate, 100%. No stearates or flow agents, no colours, flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives. Free from fat, sugar and salt, so it disappears into water, juice or a shake without changing the taste.
💪
One scoop delivers 3 g of creatine
Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine, which is exactly what a level 3.4 g scoop of this powder provides.
🥄
294 servings in one bag
At one scoop a day the 1000 g bag lasts around nine and a half months, twice as long as the 500 g size with the same powder inside. Fewer reorders, and a lower price per serving.
🔬
Lab-tested in Germany for heavy metals and microbes
An independent DAkkS-accredited laboratory (GBA Group) checks the powder for lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic as well as nine microbiological parameters, from salmonella to moulds. The certificate confirms the batch is compliant and fit for sale.

Creatine is one of the few supplements where the routine matters more than the product: a small amount, every day, for months. That is exactly where the standard 500 g pack becomes annoying. It empties in under five months, usually mid-week, and then you wait for the next delivery. A bag that lasts close to ten months removes that gap.

Inside the muscle, creatine is stored as creatine phosphate. When you lift something heavy or sprint for a few seconds, that store hands over a phosphate group so the cell can rebuild ATP almost instantly. The body makes roughly a gram a day itself, in the liver, kidneys and pancreas, and gets the rest from meat and fish. Creatine from food or from a powder ends up in that same store. With pure monohydrate, it arrives there without any companion substances.

The brand behind the bag is based in Grafschaft in Rhineland-Palatinate and builds its whole range plant-based. Production runs under IFS Food and GMP, standards that require documented hygiene and batch traceability, and finished batches go to an external laboratory on top of that. For a single-ingredient product, publishing that level of documentation is far from a given.

📋 Recommended intake

Take one level scoop of powder (3.4 g) daily with 300 ml of liquid, before or straight after training. On rest days, one serving on an empty stomach is sufficient, e.g. straight after getting up.

Nutritional information per daily serving (1 level scoop of 3.4 g)

Ingredient per serving (3.4 g) per 100 g
Creatine monohydrate 3.4 g 100 g
of which creatine 3.0 g 88 g

Trade name: Food supplement with creatine monohydrate (powder)

Ingredients: 100% creatine monohydrate

Net quantity: 1000 g

Why does a 3.4 g scoop give you 3 g of creatine, not 3.4 g?

Monohydrate means each creatine molecule carries one molecule of water bound into its crystal. That water accounts for roughly 12% of the weight, so 100 g of creatine monohydrate contains about 88 g of actual creatine. The label states both figures: 3.4 g of powder, 3.0 g of creatine. The creatine figure is the one that counts towards the 3 g named in the EFSA claim, so you can check the maths on the pack yourself.

⚠️ Mandatory information: Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily intake. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should generally consult a doctor before taking food supplements. This product is intended for adults performing high intensity exercise.

📦 Storage: After opening, store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.

💬 Frequently asked questions

  • I don't eat much meat. Does that change anything?+
Dietary creatine comes almost entirely from meat and fish; plant foods contain only traces, so a plant-based diet supplies very little of it. The powder itself is made synthetically without animal raw materials and is declared vegan and gluten-free by the manufacturer, so it fits a vegetarian or vegan diet.
  • Do I need to start with a loading week?+
No. The recommended intake is one scoop a day from day one; a loading phase is not part of it. The EFSA claim itself refers to a daily intake of 3 g of creatine, not to large starting doses. One scoop is also a routine you can keep up without counting servings.
  • Is creatine only for men who lift?+
The EFSA claim applies to adults doing high intensity exercise, regardless of sex or age. Creatine has long stopped being a bodybuilding-only product, and demand among women and people over 40 has grown noticeably in recent years. The serving is the same for everyone: one level scoop a day.
  • Will I put on weight?+
Possibly one to two per cent on the scales in the first weeks. Creatine binds water inside the muscle cell, so the gain is water rather than fat. Stop taking it and that water leaves again within a few weeks.
  • Does the powder dissolve properly?+
Stir it into 300 ml of room-temperature water and it dissolves almost completely. A little sediment at the bottom is normal for pure monohydrate without flow agents; just swirl and finish the glass. Because it has no taste of its own, it works equally well in juice, a protein shake or porridge.
  • Should I take it before training, after, or on rest days too?+
Before or straight after training both work; the daily routine matters far more than the clock. Creatine is not an acute product like caffeine, regular intake is what counts. On rest days take the scoop in the morning after getting up.
