What sets the four magnesium compounds apart?
Magnesium bisglycinate binds magnesium to the amino acid glycine. Trimagnesium dicitrate is bound to citrate, magnesium taurate to the amino acid taurine – all organic forms the body can utilise well. Magnesium oxide is inorganic, carries a high share of elemental magnesium and acts more like a reservoir. That way, fast and longer-term supply complement each other in one product.
What roles does magnesium play in the body?
Several relationships for magnesium are scientifically recognised. Magnesium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to normal psychological function.
