Alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid) is a sulfur compound that has structural similarity to fatty acids and is included in the group of vitaminoids (= vitamin-like substances). Alpha-lipoic acid also has co-enzyme function and is a component of various enzyme complexes. In this context, it plays an important role in the degradation of branched amino acids and in sugar degradation.

Recommended use
Take 1 capsule 1x daily with liquid to a meal.
