Astaxanthin is a powerful and exceptional carotenoid that is reddish-purple in color. It is considered the strongest plant antioxidant, which reaches all body cells and therefore protects the cells from the inside and outside from the effects of oxidative stress.

This astaxanthin comes from natural blood rain algae extract, which makes it particularly bioavailable. The powerful radical scavenger is fat-soluble and protects lipophilic cell structures (phospholipids) from oxidative stress.
