Shower balm or shower gel – what's the difference?
The name describes texture and purpose. A shower gel is usually clear, foams generously and aims mainly at freshness – made for normal skin. A shower balm has a creamy consistency and a noticeably higher share of caring lipids. After rinsing it leaves the skin feeling soft instead of "squeaky clean" – a sensation that, on dry skin, is often the first step towards tightness.
