Eleven vitamins to drink: for anyone who would rather not swallow tablets
Espara Multi-Vitamin Elixir provides eleven vitamins at 100% of the reference intake in two 10 ml servings, with an orange and lemon flavour. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to normal energy metabolism.
Not everyone gets on well with capsules and tablets. Older people especially, or anyone who finds swallowing difficult, often prefer a juice that is easy to measure.
Two 10 ml servings a day provide 80 mg vitamin C from acerola, 12 mg natural vitamin E, 5 µg plant-based vitamin D3 and all eight B vitamins, each at 100% of the reference intake. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Folate contributes to normal blood formation.
The flavour comes from orange juice powder and natural lemon flavouring, sweetened with raw cane sugar. The elixir is vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free. Once opened, keep the bottle in the fridge; it lasts 25 days.
