The daily dose of two capsules contains 500 mg green tea extract with a total of 475 mg polyphenols, of which 225 mg EGCG. Polyphenols are natural plant compounds responsible for the tea's tart taste. The extract contains less than 1% caffeine.

Green tea comes from the same tea plant as black tea but is not fermented, so the catechins are preserved. Espara makes the capsules vegan in Austria.

EGCG stands for epigallocatechin gallate, the most abundant catechin in green tea. A ceiling of 800 mg per day from all sources applies. These capsules provide 225 mg, so no other green tea product should be added on the same day.
