The intestine works in close symbiosis with quadrillions of intestinal bacteria, the so-called “intestinal microbiome”.

The diversity of our intestinal bacteria is crucial for a functional intestine and the associated general quality of life. In order to counteract one-sided incorrect colonization, it is recommended to take enteral bacterial strains (probiotics) in combination with fiber (prebiotics).

Enteral bacterial strains, especially the lacto- and bifidobacteria contained in PROBIO PLUS capsules, support the digestion of the individual food components. In addition, the lead germ strains in the intestine are essential in the formation and metabolism of micronutrients and in the breakdown of pollutants.

The intestinal mucosa forms an important defense barrier against foreign invaders, which is strengthened by the probiotic bacteria. Prebiotically active fiber (e.g. apple pectin) is also essential for this. After the prebiotics have been metabolized by the bacteria, predominantly short-chain fatty acids remain, which are high-quality energy suppliers for the intestinal mucosa and maintain a healthy pH environment in the intestine.

PROBIO PLUS is a well-thought-out synbiotic with a mixture of nine probiotic lead germ strains in a high-quality concentration of 20 billion reproductive bacteria per daily dose and the fiber apple pectin. The gastric juice-resistant capsules (DR-Caps = Delayed Release Caps) guarantee that the bacteria reach the intestine safely without being destroyed by stomach acid.

Recommended intake
