You know the days. Frequent nose-blowing, dry heating air, cool outside air — and the skin between your nose and upper lip starts to feel raw. That's exactly what this balm was made for: the fine, delicate skin area around the nose that easily reaches its limit.
Applied around the nostrils, the balm forms a protective film over stressed skin. Calendula and rosemary extracts soothe, vitamin E and shea butter replenish, lanolin and beeswax seal the layer. Menthol and camphor add the typical refreshing aromatic care — the kind you know from high-quality natural cosmetic balms.
Behind the product is Vitrasan GmbH in Gleisdorf, Styria — founded in 2017 and specialised in hemp extracts and CBD cosmetics since then. What's inside the active complex?
The balm brings four principles together into one aromatic care formula: plant oils (hemp seed oil, sunflower seed oil, shea butter) as a replenishing base, waxes (beeswax, lanolin, candelilla wax) for the care layer, essential oils of thyme, eucalyptus, peppermint and silver fir for the typical refreshing aromatic care, and finally calendula and rosemary extracts together with vitamin E and 20 mg of cannabidiol for soothing skin care. This combination is typical of Styrian natural cosmetic balms.
Why 41.5 % organic and not 100 %?
In certified natural cosmetics, some raw materials simply aren't available in organic quality — that includes mineral components, certain waxes and distilled ingredients. ECOGEA-certified products therefore show two separate percentages: the share of ingredients from natural origin (here 100 %) and the share from controlled organic farming (here 41.5 %). Both figures are above average in the natural cosmetics industry.

How exactly do I apply the balm?+
Take a small, pea-sized amount with your finger and gently massage around the nostrils and just below the nasal bridge. Twice a day — morning and evening. Do not insert into the nose.

How does it differ from conventional care balms?+
Most conventional care balms contain paraffin, petroleum jelly or synthetic excipients. This balm is certified organic natural cosmetics: no paraffin, silicones, mineral oils, PEG or sulphates. The base is plant-derived — shea butter, beeswax, hemp seed oil — and it adds 20 mg of CBD.

What role does CBD play in this formulation?+
Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive ingredient of the hemp plant. In natural cosmetics, CBD is used to care for irritated, stressed skin areas — here in combination with hemp seed oil, shea butter and vitamin E.

Is the balm suitable for pregnant women or children?+
The product is not suitable for infants and toddlers — essential oils such as menthol, camphor and eucalyptus may cause breathing problems in children under three. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.

How long does the jar keep once opened?+
The PAO symbol on the packaging (open jar with „12 M") indicates a shelf life of 12 months after first opening. Important: do not store above 25 °C, and always take out with clean fingers.
