Question about item
Six months of filtered tap water in one box
Three original cartridges for the classic Sanuslife ECAIA carafe. Each one handles 300 litres or 60 days, so the pack covers about half a year of filter changes.
If you use the ECAIA carafe every day, the cartridge is due every two months. That is usually the moment there is no spare in the house, and until the order arrives the water either runs through a spent filter or the jug sits unused.
Three cartridges on the shelf solve that. They are exactly the same cartridges sold singly, with carbon for contaminants and ceramics for mineralisation. Reduction figures per substance group are in the product data sheet (PDF, German).
Only fit a cartridge when a change is due. Before fitting, remove the blue seal from the underside and prepare the cartridge as described in the carafe's manual. Replace each cartridge after 300 litres, or after 60 days at the latest. Reset the indicator by holding the START button until the display flashes four times.
Product: Sanuslife ECAIA cartridge, replacement filter for the ECAIA carafe, 3-pack
Contents: 3 filter cartridges
Filter media: activated carbon granules and special bio-ceramics
Fits: ECAIA carafe (not the ECAIA carafe S)
⚠️ Notes: Replace each cartridge after 60 days at the latest, even if 300 litres have not been reached. Prepare the new cartridge as described in the carafe's manual before fitting.
💬 Frequently asked questions
-
Is the 3-pack worth it?+Yes, if you use the carafe regularly. Each cartridge in the 3-pack costs less than one bought singly, and you only order twice a year.
-
Does the 3-pack fit the ECAIA carafe S?+No. These cartridges only fit the classic ECAIA carafe with the electronic lid indicator. The carafe S uses a different filter system.
-
Do all three cartridges go in at once?+No, the carafe only ever holds one. The other two stay in the box until the next change is due.
