The Cosphera Enzyme + Hyaluronic Performance Peeling is a cleansing powder for the face. With a little water it turns into a soft foam in which two enzymes lift dead skin cells, sebum and traces of make-up, while cationic hyaluronic acid adds moisture. Developed in Graz, Austria.

Protease and lipase instead of scrubbing grains
Protease breaks down protein-based dead skin flakes, lipase takes care of oily residue such as excess sebum. No scrubbing beads and no AHA or BHA acids.

Positively charged hyaluronic acid clings to the skin and stays there even after rinsing, adding moisture and leaving the skin feeling supple.

As a powder the enzymes stay dry and stable. They only become active in your wet hands, where they whip up into a light foam.
By evening your skin carries everything the day left behind: make-up, sunscreen, sebum and dust. Classic scrubs rub it away but can quickly irritate sensitive skin, and acid peels are not for everyone.
This enzyme peel takes a third route. A pinch of powder lathered with a little water is all you need. The two enzymes gently loosen dead skin cells and excess sebum without mechanical pressure, while mild glutamate-based cleansers do the rest. Afterwards your skin is ready for serum and cream.
Cosphera is a brand of H1 Performance GmbH in Graz. The peeling is vegan and dermatologically tested, with a subtle orange scent.

📋 How to use
Lather a pinch of powder with a little water in your hands and gently massage the foam into your face. For a more intensive effect, leave on for 30–60 seconds. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Use every 2–3 days depending on skin type and needs. Avoid broken skin, mucous membranes, mouth and eyes. Works with all Cosphera Performance care ranges.

How is an enzyme peel different from an acid peel?
Acid peels such as AHA or BHA loosen the bonds between the top skin cells through a low pH. Enzyme peels use protein- and fat-splitting enzymes, similar to those found in papaya or pineapple. They are considered the gentler option and suit skin that reacts to acids or scrubbing grains.

Does it replace my usual face wash?+
On the days you use it, yes. It contains mild cleansers and cleans the face thoroughly. Follow with serum and cream as usual.

How often should I use it?+
Every 2–3 days, depending on skin type and needs. For dry or sensitive skin, once or twice a week is enough.

How long does a bottle last?+
You only need a pinch per use, so 50 g gives you around 200 uses. Use within 6 months of opening.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?+
It contains no scrubbing particles or acids and was rated "very good" in a dermatological test. It does contain fragrance (orange peel oil, limonene), so if your skin is very reactive, try it on a small area first.
