Our immune system has the primary task of distinguishing harmless substances (such as pollen, animal hair) from harmful substances (such as bacteria, viruses) and reacting to them appropriately for the situation.

In the case of an allergic reaction, the immune system misjudges the situation: it reacts to allergens. In order to get these excessive or misdirected metabolic reactions under control, the body needs vitamin C, vitamin B6 and zinc. Why? Because these micronutrients can break down the messenger substance that causes acute allergic symptoms: histamine. Nutrients and plant adaptogens (such as .B astragalus membranaceus/tragacanth) additionally correct the immune system in order to be able to react adequately to foreign substances. In studies, the anti-allergic effect of tragacanth has been clinically proven.
