The Dracaena draco or dragon blood tree is a very special tree. It gets its name from the red color of the juice, which is reminiscent of dragon's blood. Dragon's blood, also called Sangre de Drago, is nothing other than the natural resin of the dragon tree, which has been highly valued and used in many ways by indigenous peoples of South America for centuries. Dragon blood is also an integral part of traditional Chinese medicine.

Our dragon blood comes from sustainable wild collection. It is particularly important to us that no tree is felled because of the resin and that no one has to work under inhumane conditions! The harvest is carried out according to the traditional indigenous method: The red and liquid resin is obtained by carefully scratching the bark, and a wine-red, slightly foamy juice runs out, as if the tree were bleeding. Quechua Indians collect the sap by hand without any loss and close the wound on the tree with earth so that the tree heals quickly and does not suffer permanent damage. For you, we rely on the tried and tested rituals of the indigenous population and thus protect natural biodiversity.
