The importance of L-arginine as a key amino acid for health and well-being
Why L-arginine, as a semi-essential amino acid, plays a crucial role in connective tissue, muscle proteins and energy supply. L-arginine is a non-essential amino acid, i.e. the body can produce it itself, but in certain situations this amount is not always sufficient, so additional intake through food or nutritional supplements is necessary. For this reason, it is often referred to as a semi-essential (partially vital) amino acid.

Arginine is a main component of our connective tissue (e.g. collagen) and is a component of muscle proteins. This amino acid is also involved in the body's own production of creatine, which in turn supports the energy supply to the muscles and thus also the absorption of oxygen in the brain. Of all proteinogenic amino acids, L-arginine has the highest nitrogen mass fraction and is involved in the body's own production of nitric oxide.

Our acid-resistant capsule shells are made with HPMC (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose) and are therefore vegan. Our L-arginine capsules are carefully manufactured in Germany in accordance with the strictest European norms, regulations and quality standards.

Recommended consumption
Take 2 x 3 capsules daily on an empty stomach, preferably before going to bed or 1-2 hours before exercise or sexual activity with a glass of water (250 ml).
