Vita Biosa is a controlled organic herbal ferment drink from Denmark, based on two of nature's greatest inventions: lactic acid bacteria and herbs. It contains eight different strains of live lactic acid cultures, organic acids and 19 carefully selected herbs. The unique mixture of herbs, acids and bacteria gives Vita Biosa a fresh and pleasantly sour taste. Vita Biosa is a natural product that is free of artificial preservatives, sugar, gluten and lactose. It is preserved naturally by a fermentation process in which the herbs and lactic acid bacteria are mixed with water and sugar cane molasses. The bacteria consume the sugar in the molasses and convert it into organic acids. Lactic acid gives Vita Biosa a self-preserving effect. Once all the sugar of the molasses is consumed, the fermentation process is complete and the product is sugar-free. The finished product then contains only extracts of the herbs, organic acids and lactic acid bacteria.

What are lactic acid bacteria?
Lactic acid bacteria, such as lactobacillus or bifidobacteria, are so called because they convert sugar into organic acids, mainly lactic acid. The same happens during the fermentation process of Vita Biosa, in which sugar is converted into lactic acid and acetic acid. By consuming all the sugar from the bacteria, the fermented drink is sugar-free in the end. However, lactic acid bacteria have nothing to do with milk, so they can also be consumed without problems by people who do not tolerate dairy products.

What microorganism cultures does Vita Biosa have?
B. lactis, B. longum, Lc. lactis, L. casei, L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, L. salivarius, , S. thermophilus.

Is Vita Biosa also suitable for children?
Yes, You can also give Vita Biosa Probiotic herbs to your children with a clear conscience. The manufacturer recommends for children 10-15 ml in the morning, ideally before breakfast, as well as at lunch and dinner with meals. An overdose is not to be feared even with increased consumption.

Recommended use
Vita Biosa can be drunk pure or mixed with still water, juice or in smoothies. The recommended amount is 20-50 ml/day. Even large amounts are well tolerated, i.e. an overdose is not possible (however, we recommend the first few days for slow settling in only 2-3 teaspoons / day). Vita Biosa is a food that is also used in a variety of ways in the kitchen.

Please do not mix it with hot drinks as these could kill the lactic acid bacteria.

The ingredients refer to the beginning of the manufacturing process. In the course of fermentation, the ingredients are metabolized by the microorganisms.

Water, sugar cane molasses from certified organic farming, fructose and glucose (from controlled organic invert sugar), herbal mixture and fermentation cultures.
