Question about item
The shower gel that sails through every airport security check
Elina med Aloe Vera shower gel in the 100 ml size – small enough for flights, gym bag and wash bag, made for showering away from home.
At the security lane, the 300 ml bottle ends up in the bin – and at the hotel, a bar of soap waits that leaves skin feeling brittle. Frequent travellers, gym-goers and anyone on a rehab or spa stay know both scenes. Good body care rarely fails on the road for lack of will; it usually fails on bottle size.
This small care shower closes exactly that gap. At 100 ml it stays within the cabin-baggage limit for liquids and slips into any side pocket. Inside the formula, two proven humectants work together: urea and glycerin bind water in the upper layer of the skin while mild surfactants rinse away the day. Extract from Aloe barbadensis rounds off the recipe.
The Elina med range is developed by Jean Products of Karsbach, Germany. Their products have been fixtures in medical supply and care settings for years – no-nonsense body care found in hospital bags as often as in travel kits. And this small bottle is deliberately more than a trial size: it is the range's travel format.
Apply to wet skin, lather gently and rinse off thoroughly – at home or on the road.

What do urea and glycerin do in a shower gel?
Both are humectants – moisture binders. Urea occurs naturally in the skin's outer layer as part of its own moisturising system, while glycerin attracts water and holds on to it. In a rinse-off product such as a shower gel, they help make cleansing less drying than a purely surfactant-based formula. That is what earns this shower its "caring" label.

💬 Frequently asked questions

Can I take the bottle in my cabin baggage?+Yes. At 100 ml it sits exactly at the EU limit for individual containers in hand luggage and fits into the transparent 1-litre bag.
-
How does the 100 ml differ from the 250 ml bottle?+Beyond the size, the recipe differs slightly: the travel size uses aloe vera extract and additionally contains urea. Both belong to the same aloe-scented care shower line.
-
Who is the small size for?+Frequent travellers, commuters with a gym bag, rehab and hospital stays, the guest bathroom – and anyone who wants to try the shower gel before committing to the big bottle.
-
How long does a 100 ml bottle last?+Used sparingly – a few millilitres per shower – the bottle comfortably covers one to two weeks of travel.
-
Isn't urea an ingredient from foot creams?+Urea is first and foremost a humectant and appears in many care products, from creams to shower gels. In this formula it complements glycerin in binding moisture.
