What is behind the alkaline pH?

Our skin has a natural protective acid mantle with a slightly acidic pH. Frequent hand-washing, washing-up liquids or hand sanitisers can throw this protective layer out of balance. Alkaline care follows the idea of supporting the skin's natural metabolism and self-regulation from the outside – as a complement to classic skincare cosmetics.

Why organic oils make the difference

Organic almond, olive, jojoba and wheat germ oils provide essential fatty acids and naturally occurring vitamins such as vitamin E. They leave the skin feeling supple, reduce roughness and support the skin barrier as it regenerates. Plant extracts of calendula, witch hazel, St. John's wort and grapevine leaves round off the formulation with a long tradition in botanical skincare.
