Rheumatic diseases and osteoporosis are often linked to current diet-medical point of view on imbalances in the acid/base balance. Everything we eat, drink and breathe, is in our body either acids or bases metabolized. Certain habits (e.g. stress, increased physical activity) or nutrition misconduct provoke excessive training by acids (too much on animal products, white flour, or alcohol). In the long term, this kind of "acidification" leads to an increased consumption of alkaline reserves from our bones. This looting of the base can be negatively on the structure and function of connective tissue, the joints and the bones.
