Question about item
Why buy calcium and magnesium in two tubs when one coral already holds both?
This is ground sea coral and nothing else. One scoop in a glass of water, twice a day, gives you both minerals from a single source.
Topping up calcium and magnesium usually means a shelf of separate products, or a powder where carbonate, citrate and oxide have been mixed together with a flow agent so it doses easily.
Coral takes a shorter route. It builds its skeleton from minerals in seawater. Milled, that skeleton becomes a white powder with calcium and magnesium already side by side, plus other elements in trace amounts. There is nothing to blend.
The name gives away the origin: "sango" is Japanese for coral, and the raw material comes from the waters around Okinawa. vitalundfitmit100, based in Jüchen in western Germany, puts it on the market with the exact calcium and magnesium content stated per daily serving.
Daily, add 2 x 1,200 mg or 2 x 1 vital measuring scoop (included) to a glass of water (250 ml) and drink. Take between meals: one hour before or 2 hours after a meal.

💬 Frequently asked questions
-
Is Sango coral alkaline?+Chemically, coral limestone is a carbonate, so it reacts alkaline. Food supplements may not be advertised with an effect on the body's acid-base balance, though, as no such claim is authorised. So we stick to what is inside.
-
What does it taste like, and does it dissolve?+The taste is neutral. Coral limestone barely dissolves in water, so some powder settles at the bottom of the glass. Give it a stir and drink it straight away.
-
Why take it between meals?+That is how the recommended intake is set out: one hour before or two hours after eating. A glass mid-morning and another mid-afternoon fits most days without much planning.
-
I already take a calcium tablet. Can I combine them?+No. The daily serving already provides about three quarters of the reference value for calcium, so no other calcium-containing supplements should be taken alongside it. Calcium from ordinary food such as cheese or mineral water is a different matter.
-
Powder or capsules: what's the difference?+A daily serving weighs 2.4 g, which would mean several capsules a day plus a shell and often a flow agent. As a powder, it goes down with two glasses of water and the ingredient list stays at one item.
