Your iced coffee can do more: wake-up call and protein shake in one glass
VHEY®presso by nutri+ blends real instant coffee with soya and pea protein into a chocolatey protein iced coffee – shaken cold and ready in under a minute.
You know that mid-afternoon slump when you want two things at once – a cold coffee and something that actually fills you up? The iced coffees from the chiller cabinet only solve the first problem. And they usually bring a hefty dose of sugar along.
That is where this powder comes in: shake it with cold liquid until it turns creamy. The sweetness comes from sucralose, not sugar – leaving room for what matters: protein and caffeine. Just don't heat the shake strongly, or the consistency will change.
Behind the product stands Nutrition-Plus Germany – a brand whose entire range is plant-based and whose recipes are developed by nutritional scientists. Production follows IFS Food and GMP standards, with laboratory analyses published per batch.
Pour 350 ml of liquid (water or plant drink) into a shaker and add 30 g of powder (about 3 heaped tablespoons). Shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
Please note: Do not heat the VHEY®presso too much, otherwise the consistency will change. When preparing with a plant drink, take its additional nutritional values into account.

Trade name: Instant powder containing caffeine for the preparation of a protein-rich drink with sweetener. Chocolate brownie flavour.
Ingredients: Soya protein isolate, pea protein isolate, instant coffee (10.3%), low-fat cocoa powder (7%), flavouring, sweetener (sucralose)
Net quantity: 800 g (approx. 26 servings)
Why soya plus pea protein instead of whey?
The two isolates take the powder to 69% protein and together cover all essential amino acids – L-leucine alone accounts for 7.6 g per 100 g of protein. Soya protein provides a near-complete profile, and pea protein rounds it off. For anyone avoiding dairy, this is the obvious alternative to a classic whey iced coffee.
Why must the shake not get hot?
Plant proteins denature under strong heat – they clump and flocculate. That is harmless, but it looks unappetising and changes the mouthfeel. Mixed cold or lukewarm, the shake stays evenly creamy. In summer, simply add a few ice cubes.
⚠️ Mandatory information: High caffeine content (29 mg/100 ml in the prepared drink). Not suitable for children and pregnant or breastfeeding women. Contains soya.
📦 Storage: Store in a cool and dry place.
💬 Frequently asked questions
-
Does Chocolate-Brownie taste more of coffee or of chocolate?+Both: richly chocolatey with a robust coffee note in the background. The sweetness is kept restrained – if you know sticky-sweet iced coffees, you will taste the difference.
-
Does one serving replace my cup of coffee?+In terms of caffeine, one serving corresponds to roughly a large cup of coffee. If you are sensitive to caffeine, plan the shake for the morning or early afternoon. Please note the mandatory information on the high caffeine content.
-
How many servings are in the pouch?+At 30 g per shake, the 800 g pouch yields around 26 servings – about a month's supply if you drink one a day.
-
Does the powder contain allergens?+Yes, soya – the soya protein isolate is the main ingredient. Milk, lactose and gluten, however, are not included.
-
Water or plant drink – which works better?+With water the shake is already creamy and stays light. Soya or oat drink makes it fuller-bodied – just add the drink's nutritional values on top.
-
When is the best time to drink the protein iced coffee?+Many people have it in the morning instead of coffee plus breakfast shake, or in the afternoon as a protein-rich snack. Because of the caffeine, late evenings are less suitable.
