Why choline in particular?
Choline is the component of the formula for which the EU permits clear health claims. Choline contributes to normal lipid metabolism and normal homocysteine metabolism, and supports the maintenance of normal liver function. These claims apply from 82.5 mg choline per portion – and with 83 mg per two capsules, that amount is reached.
What is R-alpha-lipoic acid?
Alpha-lipoic acid occurs in two mirror-image forms. The R-form is the variant that naturally occurs in the body, unlike the synthetically formed S-form. This formula contains 120 mg of R-alpha-lipoic acid per daily dose.
