Zinc Tablets Vegan – with bioactive zinc bisglycinate for immune system, skin, hair and nails
Looking for a simple, clean and well-tolerated way to cover your daily zinc needs? Our nutri+ Zinc Tablets use well-absorbed zinc bisglycinate – an organically bound form that is particularly gentle on the stomach and efficiently utilised by your body.
Just half a tablet daily delivers 125 % of the daily reference value for zinc (12,5 mg) – and the 365-count bottle lasts for a full 730 daily servings.
Zinc is an essential trace element your body cannot produce on its own – it has to come in daily through food or targeted supplementation. As a component and activator of more than 300 enzymes and proteins, zinc takes part in countless metabolic processes: from carbohydrate and protein metabolism to cell division and the normal function of your immune system.
Our nutri+ Zinc Tablets rely on zinc bisglycinate, a chelated, organically bound zinc form in which the zinc ion is attached to two glycine molecules. This form is known to be particularly gentle on the stomach and is generally absorbed more efficiently than inorganic compounds such as zinc oxide. The recipe is deliberately minimalist: apart from zinc bisglycinate, only acacia fibre is used as a natural carrier – no magnesium stearate, no silicon dioxide, no flavourings, colours or sweeteners.
Zinc needs can be higher for athletes, people following a plant-based diet, pregnant women and anyone with increased demand, since zinc is lost through sweat among other pathways. If you want to build a broader micronutrient foundation, you can combine the Zinc Tablets with our vegan nutri+ Omega-3 fatty acids vegan for normal heart function, or with nutri+ EAA Amino Acids vegan around your training.
Production takes place in Germany under IFS Food and GMP quality standards. Every batch is additionally tested by an independent German laboratory (GBA Group) for heavy metals and microbiological purity.
Take half a tablet (½) daily unchewed with sufficient liquid. The tablet splits easily along the score line.

Why zinc bisglycinate?
Zinc bisglycinate is an amino-acid chelate – each zinc ion is held by two glycine molecules. This stable, organically bound form is generally processed more gently in the gastrointestinal tract than purely inorganic variants and is usually well tolerated, even on a sensitive stomach. If you are also thinking about liver support, the nutri+ Liver Complex vegan from the same premium range makes a sensible addition.
Why only half a tablet per day?
One full tablet contains 25 mg zinc. Because the maximum recommended zinc intake from food supplements in the EU is 15 mg per day, the tablet is designed to be split – half a tablet delivers exactly 12.5 mg zinc (125 % NRV), which is enough to cover the daily reference value comfortably. As a result, one bottle lasts you 730 days at regular use.
Mandatory information: Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. The intake of other zinc-containing food supplements is not recommended. Consumption should be limited to a few weeks or months.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What does zinc do in the body? +Zinc takes part in more than 300 enzyme reactions. Authorised EFSA claims include: zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails, to the maintenance of normal bones and vision, to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It also has a role in the process of cell division.
-
What is the difference between zinc bisglycinate and zinc oxide? +Zinc bisglycinate is an organically bound (chelated) form in which zinc is coupled to two glycine molecules. This significantly improves tolerability and bioavailability compared to inorganic forms such as zinc oxide – for the same amount of elemental zinc, your body can typically use more of what is in the tablet.
-
How should I take the tablet? +The tablet has a score line and splits easily. Take half a tablet daily, unchewed, with a large glass of water – ideally with a meal that is not particularly high in calcium or phytates, as these compounds can interfere with zinc absorption.
-
Who are the Zinc Tablets suitable for? +Suitable for adults and adolescents from the age of 12 who want to top up their daily zinc intake in a targeted way. People with increased needs can particularly benefit – for example active athletes, people on a fully plant-based diet, and pregnant or breastfeeding women after consulting their doctor.
-
How long does one bottle last? +The bottle holds 365 tablets. Because the daily serving is only half a tablet, that works out to 730 daily servings – enough to cover roughly two years of continuous use. As noted by the manufacturer, each intake phase should be limited to a few weeks or months.
