Dietary supplement with minerals and vitamins. Iron helps the normal formation of red blood cells and the red blood pigment hemoglobin.

In addition, iron supports the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron. Vitamin B2, B6, B12 and folic acid contribute to the normal red blood cell formation and copper supports the iron transport in the body.

Each human metabolic pathway contains enzymes, require the central atom of iron. An adequate supply of iron is therefore of great importance. Iron deficiency anaemia is considered the most common deficiency disease worldwide. Iron is essential for the formation of blood. It is part of the red blood pigment hemoglobin (oxygen transport) and myoglobin (red dye in the muscles). Hemoglobin contains more than half of the total stock of iron of the body.
