Bamboo trunks become rock hard, but remain elastic. The reason for this is the high silicon content. In the human body, the elasticity of connective tissue and the binding capacity of moisture in the skin are closely related to the trace element silicon, which cannot be formed by the body itself. Other fast-growing tissue, such as hair and fingernails, also requires silicon. Again, it is responsible for a firm hold and a healthy structure. In old age, the silicon content decreases, an extra natural silicon can counteract a deficiency accordingly. By the way, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world and has the largest solar energy storage capacity.

Here only get bamboo extract with an exceptionally high proportion of silica (75%) from controlled organic cultivation. Bamboo extract is the richest source of silica and associated organic silicon, which plays a major role in humans. Organically bound silicon from bamboo extract helps the skin absorb minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium.

Organically bound silicon occurs in plants and other organisms as so-called ortho-silica and normally has only low bioavailability due to the presence of certain fiber. Through the extraction process, which works exclusively with water and without toxic solvents, the indigestible fibers are rinsed out in our extract, which is standardized to 75%.
