Dietary supplement with the amino acids arginine and citrulline.

L-Arginine is a semi-essential amino acid, meaning that the body can produce it under certain circumstances, but in some situations it requires external supply. It is found in many protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, dairy products and nuts.

L-Citrulline, named after the watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris) from which it was first isolated, is a non-essential amino acid. This means the body can produce them itself. It is found in some foods such as watermelon and cucumbers, but also in smaller amounts in other fruits and vegetables.
