Vitamin K2 has increasingly moved into the scientific focus in recent years. Studies have shown that vitamin K2, in addition to its influence on blood clotting, also performs other essential tasks in the organism. Especially in bone metabolism, vitamin K2 seems to be of decisive importance as a regulating factor (together with vitamin D3). K2 is found in animal and especially in fermented foods, such as sauerkraut or natto (Japanese specialty made from fermented soybeans). With good gut health, it can also be made by the body's own bacteria. In Cosmoterra VITAMIN K2 drops, the form MK7 (menachinone-7) is used, which is characterized by high bioavailability.
