Cannabis or hemp was chosen as the medicinal plant of the year 2018 for good reason. Its ingredients have versatile positive properties on our entire organism. Phytocannabinoids, especially cannabidiol (CBD), develop their beneficial effects even when used externally on the skin. CBD is therefore an indispensable component for medical skin care for problem skin. CBD reduces skin reactions by stabilizing the skin immune system. Thus, eczema-triggering allergens, stimuli, bacteria or chemicals cannot negatively affect the irritant threshold of the skin - the skin remains stable against excessive immune reactions. Cannabidiol is also known for its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties. In addition to cannabidiol, CBD Body Lotion plus contains many other natural, active cosmetic ingredients that can break the vicious circle with irritated, reddened or itchy skin. Hemp seed oil contains many unsaturated fatty acids that are good for the skin. The gamma-linolenic acid contained therein intervenes directly in the inflammatory metabolism and can thus soothe irritated skin. Almond oil, shea butter and sunflower oil protect the skin and provide dry skin with valuable natural lipids. Aloe vera regenerates the skin barrier together with dexpanthenol and moisturizes. Liquorice root extract ideally completes the ingredient profile. This has an antioxidant effect together with vitamin E. The herbal ingredients of the liquorice root (Licochalkon A, Licochalkon B, Glabren) enhance the skin-regenerating and soothing effect of the rich body lotion.
