Detox Ayurvedic Mouth Oil
Basic oral care and dental care
Who made the trend of oil pulling known?
Already in the ancient writings of Ayurveda (Charaka Samhita) the traditional oil pulling is described. In the Western World, the Russian physician Fedor Karach made the method known in the 1990s. At a meeting of the Association of Oncologists and Bacteriologists, Dr. Karach pointed out an unusual healing procedure, which caused doubts because of its simplicity. By pressing and rinsing an oil between the teeth and in the oral cavity, the healing process of cells, tissues and organs should take place alone.
Traditional oil pulling for basic oral and dental care
Everyone knows it in the morning when you get up: dry oral mucous membranes or bland, unpleasant taste in the mouth. More than 3,000 years ago, India was able to help against it, as the oldest Vedic scriptures show.
After his original presentation, Karach recommended pure sunflower oil for an oil-pulling cure. A tablespoon is rinsed soberly in the mouth for 15-20 minutes in the morning and sucked through the teeth. Initially, the oil is golden yellow and viscous, but then becomes thinner and thinner as the rinsing time increases. Then spit the oil into a paper towel, rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water and brush the teeth. Bacteria, pathogens and toxins are found in the spitting liquid.
Double effect shortens oil pulling
According to the teachings of the oldest natural medicine, Ayurveda, Droste-Laux Naturkosmetik relies on the conductive properties of sesame oil. Specially prepared sesame oil also acts on the reflex zones of the tongue, the surface of which is also assigned to different organs. This "double effect" shortens the oil pulling to 3-5 minutes. While this detox form is said to have a positive effect on many ailments and experiences, the effects on oral and dental health have been documented (Indian Journal of Dental Research 2011).
Oil pulling is scientifically recognized in dentistry
The study results show that during oil pulling, the oil is emulsified and saponified in the mouth, a mechanism that reduces caries bacteria (Streptocoppus mutans) by about 30% and a basic effect that contributes to the deacidifying and disinfecting effect. In contrast to toothpaste, oil reaches all gaps, gaps and gum pockets. After the morning ritual, it is best to take our basic toothpaste with Three Kings gifts of gold, incense and myrrh. The most noticeable effects in basic oral and dental care products are the firming of teeth, the end of bleeding gums and bright white teeth.
The Ayurvedic mouth oil made from matured and cold-pressed sesame oil is additionally mixed with natural thyme and sage oil. These aroma oils improve taste, promote blood circulation to the gums and thus support your dental health and oral hygiene. All oils used come from controlled organic farming. Like our basic toothpaste, the basic mouth-pulling oil of EcoControl GmbH is certified according to NCS Natural Cosmetics Standard, a standard of the Society for Applied Business Ethics.
